Carmignano DOCG is one of those true hidden gems of appellations. I was first introduced to it in New York City around 16 years ago, and ever since I have hooked on the elegant brilliance of so many of the wines of the region.
Daniel Edwards is a young British fellow, an ex-sommelier/restaurateur, who found himself in the enviable position of ambassador for what many view as being this tiny region’s finest producer, Tenuta Di Capezzana.
We sat down with him at Toronto’s Cafe Boulud to speak about both the region and the wines he represents.
