When I was first studying wines back in Edinburgh, one of the first white styles I took real interest in was that of Soave, and to this day I find the better wines of Veneto to be the perfect fit for my palate and many of the dishes of the region.
Anselmi have perennially been one of my favourite producers, and I’ve recently gone on record saying that I feel their San Vincenzo bottling to be one of the best value white wines out there right now.
With this in mind it was with great pleasure I had the chance to meet and speak with Lisa Anselmi about the history of her family’s winery, one of the very best in the region.
