After 7 great years on Queen St East, it is with mixed emotions we are announcing that July 11th 2015 will be Table 17’s last service.
First and foremost we would like to thank our dedicated and hard working staff, past and present. Without the energy and professional enthusiasm of everyone who has worked at Table 17 over the years, this great journey would not have been possible. We have been so fortunate over the last 7 years to have such a loyal, caring and hard working crew. A heartfelt thanks to all.
We’d also like to thank all of you who have patronized Table 17. One of the best parts about this line of work is meeting so many different people and personalities and providing warm, thoughtful hospitality. From our amazing regulars, many of whom have become close friends, to our customers who may have joined us only once, it has sincerely been a pleasure.
We would also like to thank our great group of suppliers, service vendors and wine agents. Many have truly becomes partners, offering advice, encouragement, and at times extreme patience! Without a great group of suppliers it would be next to impossible for a restaurant like Table 17 to enjoy so many years of sustained success.
Our other locations, Ascari Enoteca and Hi-Lo Bar will continue to grow, evolve and serve the East End with the same commitment and passion as always. Moreover, as we turn the page on Table 17, there is a very exciting new project for the future. We very much look forward to sharing our plans in the months to come. The Table 17 experience is one that we would not change for the world, yet we look forward to this evolution.
It’s business as usual until the 11th of July.
Sincerely,
Erik Joyal, John Sinopoli and the entire 17 family.
WOW that is too bad, great place ate there many times…..now the surprise wouldn’t be that you’re the one’s moving in the old Jillies location as the new restaurant and will take over that fabulous corner is it?
