So unless you have been living under a stone for the past couple of years, if you live and breathe wine you have most probably heard much of the excitement surrounding the 2010 Brunello vintage.
Often when I observe such hype I take it all very much with a bucketful of salt, as across the globe regional wine marketing bodies (and the wine media they carefully fluff) can often talk up certain vintages to be the best ever, but then ultimately leave the consumer thoroughly disappointed and out of pocket.
I’m happy to say that this is not the case with Fanti’s 2010s.
After tasting through the 2010 wines with Tenuta Fanti‘s Luca Vitiello I can safely say that I feel them to be amongst some of the strongest vintages of this appellation for quite some time.
Watch and/or listen to Luca explaining why he feels this Fanti Brunello vintage to be so very special…
