Ashlee Hallengren handles the sales and marketing for Amuse Bouche, the boutique Napa Valley producer. Amuse Bouche wines are made by renown California winemaker Heidi Barrett, named ‘The Wine Diva of Napa’ by Time Magazine when a six litre (Methuselah) bottle of her 1992 Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon sold for $500,000 at a charity auction. While Ms. Barrett’s wines currently on offer from Amuse Bouche, and their Ontario agent Le Sommelier, aren’t quite as expensive, low supply and high demand keep them sold out and desired by collectors. I talked to Hallengren at Le Sommelier’s offices about what happens at Amuse Bouche for the video below.
