Earlier this week celebrated Boston Chef Jamie Bisonnette was in Toronto to present a special Hunter/Gatherer dinner with the city’s infamous Group of Seven Chefs. Thanks to the quick thinking of the Group Of Seven’s Scott Vivian I was able to grab 15 minutes of Chef Bisonnette’s time while he was prepping for the event.
Chef Bisonnette is certainly going places, being awarded Food and Wine Magazine’s Peoples’ Choice Award for Best New Chef in 2011 amongst may other accolades. Despite all of the serious media attention he remains humble and modest whilst being both passionate and highly entertaining, making him one of the best interview subjects ever.
And so we travel to the remarkably organised basement cellar of Beast restaurant…
